Celebrate Mother’s Day with an elegant, entertaining afternoon tea along with the special people in your life (mothers, aunts, grandmothers, daughters, granddaughters or nieces to name a few)!

Join us on Saturday, May 11th from 2-4pm for a traditional Victorian Tea Party.

Participants will enjoy:

-Designing their own spring hat for the tea party

-Finger sandwiches, scones, sweets and teas

-A fun presentation about proper Victorian Tea etiquette

This event will feature guest speaker Sue Wood - the “English Tea Nana.” Sue is a retired British High School teacher, who has experienced tea culture on three continents.  Sue has presented tea programs for the past 12 years, sharing her extensive knowledge of tea history and culture with West Texas audiences. Participants of all ages will enjoy her educational and entertaining style!

This Fandangle Season, enrich your exploration of Texas history through a celebration of regional Native American cultures.

Join us on Saturday, June 22 from 1-2pm in the Marshall R. Young Sculpture Courtyard for a traditional costumed dance performance, including music and story-telling.
