Selected Acquisitions since 2014

The diversity of the museum's collections of paintings, works on paper and sculptures will be reflected in a selection of works acquired by the OJAC since 2014. Accessioned through purchase, gift, and bequest, the works demonstrate the OJAC's commitment to creating depth in specific areas of the collection such as the Fort Worth Circle and contemporary Texas art. 66 objects have been added to the collection in the last four years by artists David Bates, Ed Blackburn, Dennis Blagg, Vernon Fisher, Randy Twaddle, Joseph Havel, Helen Altman, Otis Jones, James Surls, Gene Owens, Bill Bomar, Kelly Fearing, Cynthia Brants, George Grammar, Bror Utter, and Dickson Reeder just to name a very few.

Permanent Collection exhibitions are generously supported by Marcia Jacobs in memory of Chuck Jacobs, Pati & K.C. Jones, John & Sharon Matthews, Lynne & Cliff Teinert and Pam & Bob Tidwell.
