The West Texas Digital Archives is a digital repository project spearheaded by the Abilene Library Consortium. Funded by the generous support of the Dodge Jones Foundation and the Dian Graves Owen Foundation, the WTDA seeks to partner with other regional libraries, universities, and community groups to provide preservation and accessibility to unique historical materials through digitization.
In addition, this project was made possible by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (2014).
