Each Third Thursday, adult visitors are invited to "try-out" a new art medium (from paint to clay, stained glass, weaving, welding, encaustic... just to name a few.)

Participants create with an experienced art educator in a fun and laid-back workshop environment. BYOB! 21+ only


This month, bring a friend and your favorite bottle of wine, and join us for Fall Watercolor Basics with artist Tamberly Thomas!

Explore watercolor basics and create a one-of-a-kind keepsake!

Bring the whole family and explore Diwali, the Festival of Lights! 

Investigate collection artifacts and enjoy traditionally inspired crafts, games, music and snacks from India!

Get a henna “tattoo”, test your nose at our 'Scents of Diwali' game, go on a Scavenger Hunt for prizes,” and take a swing at our "Diya Piñata!

Bring the whole family and celebrate Christmas in Sweden!  

Investigate collection artifacts and enjoy traditional crafts, games, food and music from Sweden!

Families will also enjoy a Julbock Scavenger hunt on museum grounds, a Tomte Piñata, Toddler Zone, and Face Painting.
