February's focus is African American Heritage. Students will explore an ancient folk-tale about Anansi the Spider, from the country of Ghana and the Ashanti people. Students will then create an Adinkra stamp and print to decorate their own Achi Game Board (an Ashanti children's game much like tic-tac-toe).
